Defying the Binary, 2024

Defying the Binary features a less commonly represented community within the lesbian community– a queer cisgender woman who has had top surgery. Top surgery is often only associated with trans men, but many nonbinary and masculine-presenting individuals, including queer women, undergo the procedure as well. This series highlights the broader spectrum of people who choose top surgery as a way to feel more comfortable in their bodies.
